When an ionising bar is combined with an air knife the range of the ionised air is greatly increased. This is because air knives are designed to deliver a laminar high velocity air flow along their length. This is great for increasing the blow off power of the air knife but it also helps prevent the ions from mixing too much and cancelling each other out before they reach the target. The Ion Air Knife, therefore, offers a far greater range that ionising blowers.
Ion air knives come in either the standard air knife design or the advanced Silent X-Stream model which offers reduced noise and air consumption.
