The adjustable spot cooler uses a vortex tube cooler to produce cold air streams are one end and a hot exhaust air stream at the other. The position and direction of the air stream be adjusted by moving the flexible tube.
The standard spot cooler will produce 520 watts of cooling (1800 BTU/hr) with an air consumption of 42Nm3/hr (25SCFM). A larger vortex tube can be deployed to give greater cooling of 606 watts (2100 BTU/hr).
